Toyota has built its reputation by offering inexpensive cars with a low cost-of-ownership and, usually, high safety ratings. And with the closing of the Scion brand, Toyota has added a few cars to its lineup that cater to younger buyers.

Least Expensive : The Yaris lineup is the least expensive offering at Toyota, with the two- and four-door hatchbacks plus the Mazda -sourced Yaris iA sedan all carrying base prices under $17,000.

Sportiest : As Toyota shutters the Scion brand, the brand’s FR-S has been renamed the 86 for the Toyota lineup. With a 2.0-liter flat-four engine, standard six-speed manual gearbox, and rear-wheel drive, the 86 is the most performance-oriented vehicle in the Toyota lineup.
